circa 1874, with blued round 6 1/2in. barrel, raised sighting rib signed in cyrillic without serial number after the inscription but with Russian eagle stamp, crescent fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight to the barrel-latch, fluted cylinder, break-open frame with automatic ejection, smooth walnut grips, lanyard ring at heel and colour-hardened spurred trigger-guard bow, the whole retaining much original finish
